On every social media site and every news channel there's so much negativity and concern about the future. So much of what I read and hear seems out of my control. It can really get a person down. One way I combat some of that negativity is to find ways to reduce my stress and increase my peace of mind.
When I get out and exercise, when I allow others to help me at work (delegate), when I enjoy the simple pleasures in life and spend more time with the important people in my life, situations that are out of my control don’t seem to weigh so heavy on my shoulders.
Often when we take calls from our members, we hear “thank you for your help, I feel so much better now". It feels great when we know we've done our job by lightening the load and reducing the stress for employers.
