COVID-19 & Safety at Work

TIME: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Description

Governor Newsom has recently allowed many industries to begin opening, with restrictions, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Before reopening, all facilities must:

  1. Perform a detailed risk assessment and implement a site-specific protection plan
  2. Train employees on how to limit the spread of COVID-19, including how to screen themselves for symptoms and stay home if they have them
  3. Implement individual control measures and screenings
  4. Implement disinfecting protocols
  5. Implement physical distancing guidelines

Join a safety expert and CEA Partner, James Boretti, to learn more about:

  • Cal/OSHA: recording COVID cases, reporting to Cal/OSHA
  • WC: alignment with Cal/OSHA and the importance of accident investigation
  • Prevention Measures: things to consider when opening for business (i.e., risk assessing, updating relevant programs and trainings, changes to the workplace for safety, etc.)
  • What to include in your safety and social distancing plan
