Compliance Matters: Navigating Wage & Hour, Workplace Audits and More (FREE to Members for Member Appreciation Month!)

TIME: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Description

The importance of workplace compliance audits cannot be overstated for California businesses. These audits can be time-consuming and tedious to navigate, leading many companies to skip them altogether, risking falling out of compliance with complicated employment laws. Skilled legal counsel can assist with your business with key workplace compliance audits, reducing wage and hour liabilities, and increasing other business and operational benefits.

Join Duggan McHugh & CEA for this live presentation to learn more about what exactly a workplace compliance audit entails, including recent (and upcoming) legislative changes along with wage and hour minefields to watch for.

This comprehensive training will cover:

  1. Employee handbook audits and updates - particularly for businesses utilizing remote employees;
  2. Arbitration agreement updates - the importance of reviewing and revising your arbitration agreement post-Viking River
  3. 2023 and upcoming 2024 State and Local minimum wage increases
  4. Expense Reimbursement Best Practices, including for remote employees;
  5. 2023 and Upcoming 2024 Legislative Updates, the impact of state and federal Equal Pay legislation on your business operations and employee pay practices;

and, of course answering your questions!

Thank you to Duggan McHugh for sharing your expertise with our Members!
