Quick & Easy October To-Do List for Employers

1.    New I-9 Form. Make sure you are using the new version of the Form I-9 for all newly hired employees. Beginning September 18th, 2017 this was required of all employers. Do not complete the new form for current employees. By the way, if you haven't conducted an I-9 audit this year, use our handy checklist (found in HR Forms, Tools section) or let us do it for you!

2.    HR Check Up. Did you know there are only 14 more Friday’s between now and January? Before we head into the new year, schedule your annual HR Check Up with a CEA HR Expert. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure (i.e. avoiding lawsuits in 2018). Schedule your check up today.
