Professional Edge Workshop Series

Professional Edge is a series of Forums and Workshops developed by California Employers Association (CEA ) for local Workforce Investment Boards (WIB where members meet and interact with their peers and invited guests. Professional Edge Forums seeks to provide professionals with assistance during their career transition by offering weekly meetings focused on resources, skills and opportunities to successfully obtain employment.

Professional Edge workshop provides contemporary job search strategies to help the experienced workforce transition into new careers or existing job opportunities. Over 78% of our local ProNet Connections and Professional Edge Forum members have been hired in the last year earning an average salary of 55k. Professional Edge provides the resources, skills and opportunities to succeed in finding new careers.

Currently Professional Edge Forums and workshops are being held in the Sacramento and Placer County area. They are sponsored by Sacramento Employment Training Agency (SETA)  and Golden Sierra Workforce Investment Board. The programs are free to qualified applicants.
